On my Way

Hey everyone, welcome back to the second of my monthly update posts. I am currently in the Dubai airport traveling back to the base. Though before I go into that let me update you and all that our team got to do in India. So we flew to India from Bangladesh and then met the contacts we'd be working with in India. We then took taxis into the city and checked into the hotel, we were staying at and spent a day resting before starting ministry. We then traveled seven hours by train to another city in India and got settled in, after getting settled we started to go around and meet people and take part in house visits and also playing with the kids. It was so much fun spending time playing soccer and getting to know all the kids. Durning this time we really focused on building relationship and encouraging the people and praying over the city.


  After a week we traveled back to the city by train again and checked back into the hotel. We then got ready and went to a church where we got to sit in on the service and also share. The next day we started open air, which means to go and share and worship on the streets and also pray for people. I personal love this because it draws in so many people and is my favourite type of ministry. After this we also got a chances to go into different slums each day and share with the community and pray for people durning this time we saw many things and saw another paralyzed man be healed in his arm and a lady as well. I then got called over to pray for this woman who had been in an accident and had been asking many Gods to heal her but saw nothing happen and we asked if we could ask Jesus to heal her and she said yes and we pray two times and she was completely healed. Personally I wasn't feeling anything that day but just to step out in faith and know he can do it regardless is all you need when we are our weakest we have to trust him fully and listen to him, Iv'e personally experienced this so much and have seen my students experience this as well.

  So now we have begun the journey back to Redding California and am Currently in Dubai on a nine hour layover.... Help me God haha. I well then be getting on a Plane to San Francisco and traveling to Redding. This next week and Redding the students will be taking time to debrief on everything that has happened and also pray into their future and at the end of the week have their graduation. After this the base begins to prep for the next schools that start in July. At this time I will be coming home for about two weeks and will be speaking at a few churches and also having a fundraiser where I will be speaking and sharing and also leading worship and having a bbq as well all money donated will go towards supporting myself and towards the upcoming school to become a full staff member more details on that will be posted. 1. I am going through the process of renewing my visa, but has been some mix ups with interview dates and has been a very stressful process.

A Quick Recap to now

Hello, everyone!

So, I decided to post my updates on a blog instead because I feel it just looks better then a plain email list. For those of you that don't know, the past 12 months have been a roller coaster. My life has completely changed, and my priorities have shifted. I'd like to tell you why as well as share some crazy stories about what I am doing right now.
First, let's go back to September 10th, 2017. I had just left my job and declined other major job opportunities that were offered to me around the same time. These offers even included acting, being a model in Toronto, and even attending a music school for music producing and song-writing. Why would I do this you might ask? I had a longing that wasn't fulfilled.

I felt empty and at times depressed. I always felt there was more that I could be doing, and for a time I thought that was music or acting. But, between searching for that, getting into bad relationships, and trying to drink or doing anything to fill that void, it remained empty. With more of this 'gunk' in my life just grew more emptiness and brokenness in my heart. I felt very distant to God and shame began to build around me.
No matter what I was going through, I still began to notice God's love for me and Him seeking continuously after me. If he could love me through all that I have done, how could I not love Him?

So, I cut ties with everything I had been relying on to fill my void and decided to follow what the Lord had for me. I asked God what he wanted me to do and I felt Him say to pursue a Discipleship Training School with a missions organization - Youth With a Mission (YWAM). I assumed I was going back to Australia, but when I had asked Him, I felt a "no" very strongly. I, then, did some research and found that YWAM was doing DTS' in Redding, California. I, honestly, had no idea where that was, but I wanted to grow closer to God and felt Him saying I needed to go there.

I dropped everything and joined DTS that September and my life was changed from day 1.

I learned how to hear God's voice, know His heart and love for me, and learn about my spiritual gifts. I ended up being baptized again to fully symbolize my heart and life being surrendered back to God! I grew so much during this time and had found a home and family in Redding, who I grew and cried... a lot with. Near the end of my school, before my outreach, an opportunity was presented to join staff right after the school and lead an outreach off the next school. I laughed at first, but I felt conviction about it and began to pray. God clearly asked me to jump at the opportunity, and also used others for conformation.

I left for my DTS outreach to Dubai and Athens, Greece. It was absolutely amazing. I got to see so many miracles happen. Seventy people gave their lives to the Lord, and over 130 people were healed. My favorite story was with a man in a refugee camp I had met. I asked if he needed prayer, and he said yes. He expressed that he had a stomach disease. I told him that Jesus had sent me because God wanted to heal him. I prayed for him, and as I did so, another man came by and translated for me. I asked the translator to ask the man how he felt and he looked scared. I asked what was wrong and he said that the man had been completely healed! The translator asked, "What did you just do to this man?", and I told him it was all Jesus, and not me. The man who had just been healed was too afraid to talk to me but the translator had so many questions. We talked with him and he gave his life to Jesus! Later, before we left, I was able to baptize him!

After outreach, I returned home to Canada after graduating my DTS, and was home for one week. I, then, headed back to Redding and joined staff as the Lord asked. Everything was so different and took some time to transition from student to leader. Even though it was difficult to get used to as first, I had a lot of help and support around me. I most definitely cannot forget to mention that I was very blessed to officially start dating a beautiful girl named Cassie, who is another staff member on the base. She is truly one of the biggest blessings in my life!

Two months after I arrived in Redding, I was prepping to head back out on my second outreach to the Middle East to which I was asked to assist lead. About a week before, one of the leaders of an entirely different team had to drop out due to health reasons, and I was asked to help co-lead their team instead. I instantly felt peace about it and wanted to do whatever God wished, so I switched teams and left at the end of that week for Bangladesh and India.

We finally arrived to Bangladesh after 60 hours of travel, and began our time there. We went to villages, and played with the kids,and we, also, got to worship and share stories with them. The first day alone, eighty people gave their lives to Jesus! I was blown away! We continued to visit, pray for people, and share the story of God. Through this, we saw so many miracles, and I had no idea how to respond because I hadn't even seen things like this in my own DTS. I had heard stories, but never had I seen it. My favorite testimony had to be about a lady who we were told had arm pain. I and one of my students prayed for her and she immediately shot her arm up. We didn't know much more and were just joyful that the Lord had moved in some way! Later, we were singing praises and all of a sudden someone expressed that a great miracle had happened. We found out that the lady's arm wasn't just in pain, but was completely paralyzed! After we prayed for her, it was fully healed!

The people all witnessed this and were amazed. Another man came up and had the same issue, so I prayed for him, and he was healed as well. He said he had full strength back in his arm. God is so good!

Right now, we are in India and have only a few weeks left before heading home. So, I wanna share what I'm doing next and how you can help and support me, and sow into all that the Lord is doing!
As of July, I will be joining a leadership training school that is mandatory to be a part of staff called School of Frontier Missions. For this, I need $2500 USD American dollars, not including food and other basic needs. I, also, felt God wanting to provide a car for me, so if anyone has a car they wish to donate or would like to put money towards supporting me in getting one, let me know.
